The story of Glutton.

Listening to the sweetness of Yuna, the rawness of guitar and vocals of An Honest Mistake, the rockin' tunes of The Benchmarx, and somehow, the awesomeness of Ben 10. XD

I haven't related the story of Glutton, right?
Well. My sister was just browsing through the pictures in my phone and stumbled on the pictures of us releasing Glutton. Hahahahhahahahhaa (you'll see why I'm laughing in a short while.)
Glutton is this family's tortoise-turtle. It started off as a gift from an auntie, and it was so very very small. Smaller than half a palm! So you can imagine what it looks like when it crawls on your hand. XD

So we initially kept it in a container with a pastel pink top, the ones you can easily find in a hidupan air shop. The container used to belong to a fighting fish who had passed on.

As we didn't really know how much to feed it, we put a (little? XD) bit more. It ate it all up, and that's how the name Glutton was born a few weeks later.

Glutton grew, and he grew and then he grew some more! He grew until he couldn't move in his container and he got transferred to a blue tong we couldn't use anymore. (I'd like to think it was a he, because if it were a she... well. If. XD)

My Pa and Chloe usually fed him, so they naturally got closer to him, talking to him and stuff like that. It's amazing how a relationship between two entities in which one cannot speak can be so bonding. Glutton stayed with us for 2-3 (or even more XD I don't remember) years. We occasionally took him out and put him in the sink or the bathroom to waddle around to his heart's content. Once we let him out and forgot to put him back for a while. When we looked in the bathroom, he was GONE! We looked everywhere for him, and finally we found him up a corner under a bed in our room. It was hilarious. I had a torchlight and shone it on him and then he looked back flippantly. Like. "What the hell, leave meh here." hahahaha.

We cleaned him once in a while. He'd smell a few days later. XD

Eventually... well, a good thing has to end someday. He grew too big for the tong, and we kept discussing the issue of setting him free kat the recreational lake in Kelana Jaya. And one day, we went.

The setting free of Glutton was really memorable. XD I took pictures of Glutton, of my dad, my sister. When the time came, we smiled and took him out of his much too small tong. "Goodbye Glutton, I'll miss you. We'll miss you! :'D" "bye bye Glutton!" yes, we said our goodbyes.

We put him on the bank. He tested the water, and finally crawled in without a second glance. Then there wasn't any sign of him. Not one ripple, not one wave. "Well. That's that," I thought.

Out of the blue, literally, he JUMPED out of the water so very very high and did some flipper trick thing! HAHAHA we laughed our asses off, and then we left the scene.

Yeah, it was memorable. :D Good day, people.
