SO, yesterday I had tuition. Yesterday was Monday by the way. :)
And surprisingly, I made two new friends :D
Hahahahahaha!
I like doing random kindnesses. I like helping people, no reason why. It's a good thing to do, and it makes people's day. Unexpected smiles make me happy.
Like my own brand of heroin, ahem. XD
When I went to tuition last Friday and found this really simple but beautiful necklace, I took it and reasoned that it belonged to someone of the really big BM class right before my class. Most of them would turn up next Monday, so I kept it. The necklace was just a pearly heart pendant that reflected the colours of the rainbow on a chain that looked worn and well loved. The clasp was broken. Therefore, can we fix it?
YES WE CAN :D
I took it to Hartamas Shopping Centre, to an accessory booth where I hoped they could fix clasps and sell simple black bands. There was an Indian guy tending the stall; it belonged to his sister and I asked him if he could fix the clasp. He said he could! :D
This character was really... interesting. He had several piercings on his ears and wore silver that shone against his smooth skin. Well-dressed, slightly feminine and very friendly, I was immediately taken and related the story to him with a smile in my voice. We talked and talked, until a woman and her four children, 2 in strollers came along, and I made way while he was still putting the new clip on. Her little girl that looked 4 or 5 years old wanted piercings already, and he was to judge whether she was ready.
OMG, I remember when I pierced my ears. We had to go through a really pretty park to go to the stall, and I did mine without much fuss. My first pair of earrings were hearts. I remember Mandy's reaction more though, hahaha! She pierced one side, cried, and ran away. Then she had to come back for the second ear. Hahahhahaha XD
When we parted ways, he said what I did was nice and patted my arm lightly with a parting goodbye and a little lilt in his endearment for me, "sweetie".
When I woke up Monday morning, I was just bouncing with excitement to go for tuition. School took FOREVER to finish. I walked with a spring in my step going to Desa to makan, and when I reached I made the funniest decision ever, hahahhaha!
I ordered a big bowl of "drunk chicken noodles" which was herbal chicken soup with a healthy dose of Chinese rice wine. (The auntie had cautioned me beforehand that this dish contained wine. OH auntie. XD) It was new, this smell and taste to my taste buds and I lapped it all up, savouring the taste of the wine and the chicken soup with the mee sua that just absorbs the flavour. It was amazing. But in my subconscious mind, I thought, this bowl of noodles has way too much alcohol content in it HAHAHA. The smell of wine was a little overpowering, I felt like I could breathe it in.
Sure enough, after eating, I felt a bit lightheaded. My sister commented on my red face when I told Pa, and said I cepat mabuk HAHAHA
I went home and dozed off, suddenly feeling very warm and happy all over. Pa yelled for me to get up 15 minutes before tuition, and I hurried, dressed and ran out the door to hopefully get to tuition as early as possible. You know, because I wanted to return the necklace. I planned to go in front and announce the missing necklace to the class.
Still feeling a little lightheaded, I stumbled a bit on the way up the stairs to the tuition centre. I could feel my heart beating away in my CHEEKS, I swear. It was so funny, I must have been red. I could feel heat just emanating from my body like some kind of broadcasting centre. The fact that the class was Physics didn't help XD hahahaha
Distracted by my lightness, I headed to the front without much fear. I said "Ummmm hi :D did anyone lose this?" I showed it to the girls in front, and then some guys were like showing signs that they recognized it. OF ALL THINGS, a guy enters the door, looks at it and was like, "OH HIII that's mine! Thank you, thank you so much"
My WHUUUUT face must've been a sight to see. XD I forgot to tell him about the fixed clasp, but I figured he'd notice someday. I asked him if he wanted a new band, but he refused. His smile was so sweet :)
So I ambled on to my seat, not caring much for the people I passed as I just wanted to feel the pulse in my cheek in a sitting position. After an hour or so, the feeling of giddiness went away, and I started thinking about that guy the necklace belonged to. Was he going to leave it at that? Or maybe say hi the next time we pass?
Physics came and went. He left for home, but as he passed me, he looked me in the eye, smiled widely and said thank you again.
And I'm touched :D

The second friend I made.... wait, it was more like she made friends with me! :D
Eyu Huan Hee, that is her name. She has Thai, Hokkien, and Kelantan all in her bloodline, and her English is surprisingly good :D She invited me to an International Relationship Day to raise funds for homeless children, or rather orphans; specifically Stepping Stones Orphanage.

If you have visited littlethingsinaheart, you'd know that I've been there before so my interest was peaked. :D
The event is in 2 weeks time! Find the event on facebook, it's under KB's IR Night. The theme is Blast from the Past, and only RM25 per person. Kalau nak beli 10 one shot, it's only RM20 per person! They have games and performances for the whole night all in the name of charity. The venue, if I tak salah is the Confucian School Hall in KL; however buses are provided :D And dress code, as always, is smart casual.

We just chatted and chatted and found a friend in each other! I also talked more to the princess! Yayyy.
She's a really nice girl. She's athletic, really tall and tanned. She has a wide smile that manages to be upward and downward, and warm eyes. :D I like her.
I hope I can go. But the problem would be the baju............ XD
